  Buyers Beware!!! They are building cheap defective homes then selling them as expensive luxury homes. We closed on my Taylor Morrison house in the community of Stillwater on Lake Houston in May of this year and now wish we would have gone elsewhere! We have several issues, as you do in constructing any new home, but they have been ridiculous unprofessional, rude, and incompetent at resolving the issues. First, we pointed out several issues that we felt should have been fixed before closing but they stated they did not fix issues before closing. Their "policy" was to wait until 14 days after you move in then meet with you to get a list of issues then. This is simply a way for them to get out of having to finish the house before closing and to get you to take the house as is. Then good luck with having them complete the repairs after closing because they say they are sending someone but no one else shows up. Since they do not have the professionalism to followup up on issues when you contact them they say they thought the issue was fixed. Our 3 year old daughter has been having to sleep on the floor in our bedroom for 2 weeks now because they found mold upstairs and the area by her room is torn up. Oh!! Our neighbors have had the same issues! Save yourself the headaches we have had to deal with and buy from another building. Stay away from Taylor Morrison.
